Easter nest

So this past week I found this awesome bird nest tutorial over at {Under The Table and Dreaming}

She saw some expensive pottery barn nests and decided to make her own for really cheap!
Look how hers turned out:

So I got my balloon, yarn and fabric stiffener:


It started like this:


And ended up like this:


I ended up cutting the ends because it was really big and deep and I needed it to be smaller but I still like how it turned out.

She said that she had to wait 48 hours for hers to dry but as I pulled each piece of yarn out of the stiffener, I lightly ran my fingers down each piece to avoid dripping and excess stiffener and it worked just fine- Mine only had to dry overnight!
