update...finally!

I know it's been forever since i last updated this....i've just been so busy this whole break and now school's started again so there goes all of my free time!
Christmas was great! I got kendall a stereo for the landcruiser and he lovovovoves it! we had to take the landcruiser everywhere for a while, just so we could listen to the ipod hook up and stuff.

Kendall got me a vintage yellow kitchenaid mixer!! yay! i've been making too many cookies lately because of it! haha.

we got to go to supercross again and i got a new hat so that i could be all supercrossd out.


then we got to go to utah this past weekend to see liz and cortney for keaton's baby blessing! it was so much fun. i got to go to breakfast with kendi! i miss her!


kendall and i have been bowling a lot lately so we decided to go with liz and cort and their boys while we were in utah.


and finally keaton was such a stud in his blessing outfit! i miss all of them already!


on a brighter note, even though the break is over and school is back in, i was just checking my credit hours and major requirements and it's pretty much for sure that after this semester, i will only have two left! i'm that much closer to being completely finished! it feels pretty good.

hand cramping.

Soooo, my newest project went into production this weekend. I decided to make an awesome lumberjack beanie for kendall. I got everything for it friday night and stayed up until two a.m. working on it, only to realize that I needed to start OVER! I worked on it all day today and finished it at about seven tonight. whew! my hand is killing me from all of the crocheting!









And, Kendall and I bought ourselves Christmas decorations and a christmas tree! yay! I'll have to add a picture later with all of the lights and reindeer we put on our apartment balcony :)

Fall leaves

My sister's yard had all of these pretty leaves in it this past week! SOOO... I took advantage of the fact and decided to dress her daughters up and take pictures. It turned into this huge photo shoot and family picture time :) It was really fun. here are just a few

crochet!

I'm now obsessed with making crochet things like beanies and scarves. I learned how last year but I only knew how to single crochet and had no idea how to figure out all of these other types! Kendall's sister taught me and now I am getting better at it! these are the beanies I made for kendall and I to match :)

so I'm thinking i'm going to make homemade lemon mirangue pie for thanksgiving to bring to my in-law's for dinner.

I figure since I won't ever make pumpkin pie as good as kendalls mom, I may as well will try his second favorite.

it's a shame I don't really like pie or pie crust. it's hard for me to tell if it tastes good.

Halloween

The Dunes were really fun this time around. I didn't hurt myself (other than being incredibly sore all over for the past few days) and I went on some harder parts of the dunes that we didn't go on last time.

The only thing that was kind of a bummer is that we missed halloween and dressing up and parties and stuff. I thought maybe the dunes were going to be extra-exceptional because of halloween but they really weren't so next time i'd prefer to go on a regular weekend.

I was going through some bowls and I ended up rolling the quad at the top of a really soft hill. I scrambled out of the way in time and it just ended up sinking in upside down instead of following me. It actually wasn't that bad of an experience but for some reason I was shaken. So, after a break we kept going but I had a hard time at first because I ended up being too scared and needed a moment before trying another huge hill but I forced myself (along with my hubby) to keep going and the next day I ended going through all of the actual dunes with everyone.

The huge dunes were'nt as much fun for me the first time but I know it's just because I was scared out of my mind. I think the next time will be better.

school etc.

school started this week. i'm taking 16 credit hours and i was excited at first to finally be able to get ALL of the classes i needed for the semester and not have to take a dance class or stupid elective like comp to fill up credits...however, i am a little nervous about the large load of classes this semester. oh well- i can do it i'll just be pretty busy and bogged down with homework, reading, quizzes, etc.

my wedding pictures are almost done! i'm excited to get them so that i can put them in a photo album and in all of the empty pictures frames we got at the wedding. 

kendall got a raise. yay! and i'm selling my car. so there's some extra cash to put away. we found a land cruiser online for only 850$ and we might get it if we can get a hold of the guy.
