My SIL and I decided to start a Pinterest club. There are so many times we sit on Pinterest and say "I want to make that" and never do. So, we decided to start a club that gets together once a month and makes crafts from Pinterest. It has been so much fun! Last week our big project was this flag project:
I haven't finished it completely- I still want to stain it and then hang it. But either way- it was a lot of fun :)

Busy baby
Does anyone else out there have a super busy baby? Because mine is driving me nuts! Haha
For example: He has learned how to unlock and open the dishwasher. So, I get up and lock it and tell him "uh-uh" and "we don't play with the dishwasher". While I'm doing this, he runs over to my laptop, which I left on the couch, and starts hitting all of the buttons. When I get him away from that, he goes over and uses the dog as a stepping stool to get onto the couch. When I get him down from that, he's back to the dishwasher.
And this is all in my BABYPROOF house. I can't even take him anywhere that isn't baby proofed without having to watch him every second.
EVERY SECOND.
Maybe it's my own fault for being busy too? He doesn't let me sit down from longer than 20 minutes. He'll play and be happy as long as I'm up and doing things but if I try to sit down, he comes and cries at me to get up and stop trying to be lazy! Haha. I guess I have always been very busy and now I'm paying for it! It's not such a big deal because it helps me get things done, but when I'm sick or need a break, it's really hard to relax!
Who knew such a cute face could wreak havoc on my house!

Room makeover
It all started with my desire for new bedding. I had been eying Anthropologie's Nimbus Jersey bedding but didn't want to spend the money on it. So, I made my own and posted about it back {here}. After finishing it, I decided that my room needed paint, and some lighter accents to match.
Here is what it looked like before:
Nice new white bedding with dingy walls and black curtains.
Here is the after, with some paint, new curtains and rearrangements:
Don't mind the stack of diapers and miscellaneous drinks on the bedside tables. that's how we roll.
The walls are still bare- my next project in progress has been painting a bunch of my grandmother's frames and developing photos and making artwork to add to these walls. I'm also hoping to put a chair and a table here...
I love how much lighter it is. I'm also collecting fun pillows to add some color and fun.

Biker Baby Nursery part whatever
I started on Mr. Harrison's nursery a lonnnng time ago. Before he was born. But... I never completely finished it. I got most of it done {here} but had a blank wall that needed something good.
My SIL cut me some letters and I painted them and FINALLY hung them up!
What do you think?
And since Mr. Harrison has decided to turn into a little busy beaver, I had to do something quick to cover his crib railing.
I'm sad that I didn't catch it in time to prevent all of the chew marks but at least there won't be any more! Just cut fleece to length, cut strips on the bottom and tie them together. Super easy and quick!
I love how it all turned out.

New Look!
Hey there! I'm back! I've been gone for forever and I'm sorry to all of you who have been wondering where I am and what I've been up to.
My blog template went a little crazy- I was scrambling to fix it and ended up messing it up more, which made me so frustrated that I quit blogging for a while (amongst other reasons for taking break)!
So... I decided it was time for an overhaul! My friend {Janette} worked her magic and it looks amazing! It is just what I needed to get back into the bloggy world! What do you think? Check her out and give her some bloggy love for being so creative!
That's all of the update for now... I have a lot of projects to post about coming up! See you later? OK? OK!
